III. Story

1. Kevin, the kangaroo is flying a kite. It is a beautiful, sunny day.

2. Suddenly, a gust of wind takes his kite away! His happy face turns sad.

"Oh no!" Kevin cries.

3. He hops home quickly, but he doesn't have a key!

Kevin opens his mouth and shouts. "Mom, let me in," he shouts.

4. His mom appears and presses her face against a window. "Mom, I lost my kite!"

"How many kites are there?" She asks.

"There is one kite," Kevin says.

5. Then, Kevin sees his dad hopping toward the house. He has Kevin's kite!

"This is my kite!" Kevin shouts. He is so happy!
